Timeline of Development
A baby's life begins at the moment when a sperm cell from its father meets the egg cell from its mother, deep in the mother's womb. This life is completely unique and distinct from that of any other human that has ever lived. From just one first human cell the baby will continue growing and receiving nourishment inside the mother until birth. Over the course of nine months, however, the mere word "growing" hardly captures the incredible development that takes place.
