We at Tepeyac Family Center truly believe in caring for the whole person: body, soul and spirit. As a pro-life obstetric and gynecology practice, we believe in helping women to maintain or improve their fertility. Suppressing fertility for birth control purposes usually provides more problems than it cures. We encourage women to learn natural family planning (NFP) which is fertility awareness. With this knowledge a woman can detect when she is fertile and infertile with remarkable accuracy. In this section of the website, you will find information on NFP classes that are taught in the local area and national websites for more information. Detecting your fertility signs after the birth of your child can often be difficult. While not providing a complete course on the return of fertility after childbirth as part of this website (see www.ccli.org for such a course), we do provide some useful information for women in this situation.
We understand the difficulty that many women face when trying to improve their fertility in a way that is morally sound and that respects the dignity of both husband and wife. Our section on infertility steps you through the procedures that we use to assist such couples during this very important time in their lives.
